It finally snowed! Yay! But not enough to go outside and play in. Boo.

Simon has been very excited for lots of snow, not because he wants to make a snowman, which would be normal. No, he wants to create a snow artillery.

Snow rockets! Snow missiles! And snow…balls. Yeah, that last one is fairly anticlimactic. But apparently necessary as the piece required to make the first two work. And only after I told him he couldn’t put rocks in his snow missile.

In case you didn’t figure it out, we are taking our snow rocket to Hoth and saving Luke Skywalker from those snow creatures or whatever else I can pretend to be without spilling my hot cocoa and Bailey’s.

But only when climate change reverses and it actually starts to snow again in the Midwest.

Until then, Harry Potter in the family room it is. I am running out of legit sounding made up spell names, though. I think he’s figuring out I am not a real wizard.
